Eyeless Love: Chapter 7

Author Note: I can't remember if I've described Kristy yet so there is going to be more descriptions and if I have already, I apologize sense this will probably be very different.


Jack's warm hand gently held mine as he led me to Slender's door. Shakily, I ran the hand that wasn't occupied by Jack's through my light blond hair. My green eyes widened with dread, remembering the shocking revelation Slenderman had spoken about. While I was more than thrilled that the man who abused me and the woman who ignored me weren't my biological parents, it led me to question who they could me. He said my father was a Creepypasta, right? Which one was he? Who was my mother? Why on earth would they leave me with the heartless people who led me to attempt suicide multiple times?


Sensing where my train of thought was going, Jack pressed his lips to my forehead for a moment and wrapped his arm around my waist before leading me silently into the room. Slender stood, talking quietly to what appeared to be an agitated man with hair so blond, it was practically white. The man also had blood red irises. His clothes closely resembled Link from Legend of Zelda, except his tunic was a sickening pale green-grayish color. When I walked in, his eyes widened as they met mine before softening. I recognized his character as Dark Link, although I had never read his story, only fan fictions about him.


Slender turned to face me as soon as I entered, "Ah, Kristy. What I told you the other night must have left you with a lot of questions and I apologize sincerely for that. However, I am not best suited to answer all of your questions." He used a tentacle to nudge me until I stood directly in front of a tense Dark Link. Jack stood rigid behind me. "Kristy, let me introduce you to Dark Link, who also happens to be your Biological father."


My eyes widened and my hand covered my mouth in shock. He shifted uncomfortably before clearing his throat, "It's true. I am your father, Kristy." The room was dead silent, waiting for my reaction. A few tears leaked through my eyes as I took a hesitant step forward.


As I took a closer look at him, I noticed we did have similar ways of holding ourselves and we had similar cheekbone shapes. "You..." I whispered. Rage started to fill my eyes, "You... You left me with a pedophile!" I hissed.


His eyes widened, "W-what? What do you mean?"


"I mean he rapped me and the girl I believed to be my sister! Multiple times! He abused me! He made me feel worthless!" I shoved him back and he made no move against me, his eyes filled with pain, shock, anger, and deep despair.


"I didn't know! If I did, he would be dead right now! You were taken away from me! Your mother, before she died, thought it would be best! It would give you a chance! I was forbidden to see you by Zalgo himself! I tried to find you! I swear! You are my child and I never stopped loving you!" Stepping forward again, he wrapped his strong, muscled arms around small body tightly.


I tried to escape but soon I just buried my face into his chest, sobbing. He held the back of my head with one arm and whispered into my ear, "I will never let him hurt you again, I promise." I felt tears hit the top of my head from Dark Link--my father's eyes.


"Please... Don't abandon me again.... Dad." I whispered into his chest.


At the word Dad, Dark Link took in a sharp breath, "I won't, baby girl, I promise. I am so happy to see you." He held me tighter as my sobbing faded to silent tears.


After a minute, we separated and he took me in fully. "Wow. You are certainly not the small baby that I last saw. You have her eyes." He whispered.


Swallowing the lump in my throat, I asked, "What happened to her? my mother." His eyes filled with pain.


"She died minutes after you were born. I'm so sorry." He pulled me in once more. It was crazy, but already I trusted him and loved him as my father and my only family.


I felt him stiffen as he noticed Jack's presence. "Why are you here? What are you to her?" My eyes widened as I looked up to his face. It felt odd having someone care about who was around me. It was a wonderful feeling. Dark Link separated from me and stood in between Jack and I.


Jack, not backing down from the challenging glare of my father, stepped forward. "Sir, I am her boyfriend." Both Dark Link and I froze at his words.


Dark Link was the first to recover, although his eyes where narrowed in a challenge, "I would spit out some fatherly bullshit about you being near her but I don't know her all that well yet, which I intend to fix. I know what your story is and what you do, although I don't know you personally. But, I do know this, I will not let anyone else hurt her, emotionally or physically and that includes you, Eyeless Jack." Dark link wrapped an arm around my shoulders protectively.


I couldn't hold back the grin from my face. I would gladly have went through the hell I had endured to have what I did at that exact moment; a caring father and a-perfect-for-me boyfriend. I didn't know what challenges I will have to face in the future, but I knew it was worth it to be with them.
